President Kiir Receives A Call From The Youth
A few days after President Kiir of South Sudan relieves his government, he received a call from a concerned youth group urging him to replace his government with people who aspire to fulfill South Sudan’s hopes and dreams. The President’s motives for releasing his government came from a history of tension and disagreement, but he continues to have full support from the public. Many are in agreement with President Kiirs decision, but some still hold concern for the replacing cabinet.
Members from the Sudan Peoples’ Liberation Movement shared at a press conference, “We trust president will put in place a government which will fulfill the hopes and aspirations of the people of South Sudan and above all give special consideration to the youth who are the backbone of this nation”, he added.
Other governors from states such as Jonglei, Lakes and Eastern Equatoria make calls to the President to show their support.
